Baldwin Heights Elementary School consists of grades PreK-5th with a population of over 500 students. Many devoted and caring staff members make student learning their number one priority which helps us create a caring, safe, and fun learning environment for ALL students. Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is made up of a highly dedicated group of people who go above and beyond to provide our students and staff with the necessary resources to be successful.
The Baldwin Heights school family goes above and beyond to provide multiple leadership and educational opportunities outside of the school day. Students can participate in Running Club, Robotics Club, Safety Patrol, and WBHE News (school broadcasting team). Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students to compete at the regional, state, and world levels. In 2022 and 2023, one of our Baldwin Heights Odyssey of the Mind teams was able to compete at the WORLD LEVEL!
Baldwin Heights received the Education Excellence Award by the Michigan Association of School Boards in 2018 and was identified as a REWARD school by the Michigan Department of Education in 2019 and 2022. We are very proud of our exceptional staff, school, and students. We are fortunate to have exemplary, updated facilities and our building technology is state-of-the-art.
At Baldwin Heights, we are a SCHOOL FAMILY that comes together to make sure our students are SAFE, RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL, and GOOD LEARNERS.
