The GPS Summer Learning Program is off to an amazing start, with over 230 K-12 students taking part in a wide range of educational activities.
Integrating interactive technology, hands-on projects, and engaging instructional approaches have made K-12 summer learning an exciting and rewarding experience for students and educators so far!
Congratulations to our Baldwin Height's Teacher of the Year recipient, Emilee Tremlin! Ms. Tremlin teaches music to K-5th grade students. One of the very many nice comments used to nominate Emilee said, "Emilee is quite simply put one of the best educators I've ever encountered in any field. Her positivity and knowledge of subject matter are second to none. She builds incredible relationships with students, staff, and parents. " Thank you Emilee for being an outstanding teacher!!

We are excited to announce our Greenville Middle School Support Staff of the Year, Lori Hufford! Lori is our GMS Office Health Assistant. Walnut Hill's Support Staff of the Year is Rachel Stemen! Rachel works as a paraprofessional helping to support the needs of teachers and students. One of the comments used to nominate Rachel was, "Always going above and beyond with her job. Never negative and provides support away from her regular duties." Congrats Rachael; we are very happy to have you on our GPS team!
A huge congrats to our winners! Kristen Ritter, Math Teacher, has been recognized as GHS's Teacher of the Year, and Rick Court, Coordinator of Athletic Strength and Performance, has been recognized as GHS's Support Staff of the Year. We are incredibly proud and thankful for these two individuals. Job well done!
