The Greenville Board of Education approved the 2024-25 District Calendar on Monday, March 11, 2024. The calendar is a collaborative effort with representation from board members, administrators, teachers, and support staff.
2024-2025 GPS District Calendar
Here are a few things to note about the 2024-2025 school year:
The first student day is Monday, August 19, 2024.
Middle school and high school exams are before the Winter Recess, and the second semester will begin when students return in January.
Winter Recess will be December 23, 2024-January 3, 2025, and continues to be two (2) weeks in length. School resumes on Monday, January 6, 2025.
Spring Break will be March 24-28, 2025, and is predetermined by the Montcalm Area ISD.
The last student day is currently scheduled for Friday, May 30, 2025. The last day of school is variable and based upon unplanned school closures.
We have two (2) types of school days: full days and half days. Please note the dismissal time differences found at the bottom of the calendar.
